BAJRANGI : The Bhaijaan Of Box-Office

 

One of the most loved movies by the cinema-goers this decade. It will not be wrong to state that the movie which changed the value of content in the masala loving moviegoers and which had a major impact due to the presence of one of the Biggest Megastar of Indian Cinema, that’s right by the time you guess now that it’s none other than recording breaking Blockbuster machine: THE SALMAN KHAN

 

Well to bring up a slight awareness among the readers, let this be informed that Salman Khan is the synonym for the Sultanate of major Box-Office records in Indian Cinema, the charismatic star who is known to garner and account for one of the largest fan following and going by the statistics, before the release of Bajrangi he had already accounted for around 6 blockbusters in just a span of the five year period.

He has been quoted as the Jack of “Entertainment, Emotions, Action & Swag”. With the release of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, he has not only added the biggest feather in his Blockbuster-Box Office machine but has also given the most cult-classic masterpiece to the Indian Cinema with his prevalent commitment of conquering the Box-Office.

 

The film which released on 17th July 2015, has now emerged to be the 3rd Highest Grossing movie of Indian Cinema with an approximate Box-Office standing of 800Crs* currently. The film marked it’s release during the period of EID-Ul-Fitr which is considered as the lucky charm of the Megastar Salman Khan had garnered the biggest moolah by breaking all the benchmarked records and had accounted for the movie with highest footfalls (Number of moviegoers), surpassing the footfalls of previous blockbusters like 3 Idiots, Dabangg, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick & Pk.
Coming to the vehement records that it started setting, it had the Highest First Sunday, Highest Weekend, Highest Week 1, Highest Week 2 and emerged out to be the 2nd Highest Grossing movie during it’s release lacking to surpass a few crores that was benchmarked by Pk. It was the Highest Grossing movie of the Megastar Salman Khan during the period of it’s release (Currently Tiger Zinda Hai, his recent Blockbuster which has overtaken the records set by Bajrangi Bhaijaan and which has even conventionally taken down the records of Pk).

 

The new emerging Chinese Cinema market which values the great contents of the movies of Indian & World Cinema has seen a major growth potential with the release of Pk, Dangal & Secret Superstar which garnered a tremendous Box-Office response due to the well-marked screenplay of such movies. In the recent time, Bajrangi marked its debut with the debut of Salman Khan in the Chinese Cinema markets. To bring to a fact, the Megastar with his hard-hitting Content oriented movie has already conquered himself as the only actor of Indian Cinema who has accounted for a Box-Office Collection of INR 200 Crores* in the Chinese markets whereas his contemporaries were not able to account for even a 1/10th of the Box-Office figures set by the Megastar during the debut in the Chinese market.

 

Films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan have been a crystal clear indicator that, movies with an orientation of great content & screenplay are persistent to be remembered as a movie which a cinema-goer witnesses in his lifetime and when it is given the Golden-touch of the Biggest Megastar like Salman Khan then it has already found the place in hearts of Cinema-goers & there is nothing stopping it to emerge as one of the Highest Grossers and setting the Box-Office on fire with record breaking collections.
