Salman Khan’s Tubelight trailer breakdown : Everything you missed in the trailer
Box office King Salman Khan’s upcoming release Tubelight teaser and its first song have been getting rave reviews so far. Now when historical humane drama is a month away from the release, the makers released the trailer of this much awaited flick today at an event in Mumbai. Besides the Sultan actor, director Kabir Khan, co-star Sohail Khan and music director Pritam were present at the event and did an interaction session with media before launching the trailer.
The way Tubelight trailer is made, we can say that the film is going to be a huge Box office hit. Everything shown in the trailer is just perfect.
War plays a very important part in Salman’s Tubelight. 1962’s Indo-Sino war serves as a backdrop of the main action. The Tiger Zinda Hai actor’s brother Sohail Khan is to be seen playing the role of an Indian soldier. If you do a little research work, you will find out that the army uniforms of both India and China are designed exactly as same they were at that time.
Making it to some extent, even the vehicles used in that Indo Sino war are exactly same as seen in the trailer. To make the war torn areas look realistic Kabir chose Ladakh as shoot location.
Shah Rukh Khan is also doing a small cameo for Best buddy Salman’s Tubelight. There is one small shadowy glimpse of him in the trailer and we guess that should not be much harder to find out. The Raees actor to be seen playing a magician who meets dim minded Tubelight and enlightens him. Kabir Khan again tried to keep SRK’s character realistic. Shah Rukh’s screen name is Gogo Pasha, interestingly it is inspired from Gogio Pasha, a famous magician of that time.
Jagatpur is the place where Laxman Singh Bist (Salman Khan) and his brother Bharat Singh Bist (Sohail Khan) are born and brought up. In actual, Jagatpur is an industrial town located in the Cuttack district of Odisha. But in Tubelight, the place is fictionalised and is set in hilly regions of Manali. We caught a few glimpses of Gandhiji in Tubelight teaser. Again director Kabir Khan has perfectly left a realistic touch as Bapu actually visited Odisha in the year 1946. Now it is really amazing.
Tubelight trailer review
Tubelight trailer is, first of all, so impressive. Salman Khan’s last release was Ali Abbas Zafar‘s Sultan where he played the character of a hardcore wrestler. Now in Tubelight he is seen in a completely different role, better say in a never seen before avatar. We saw Salman playing a simpleton in Bajrangi Bhaijaan before but in this film he has taken it to a different level. You just cannot hate this kind of characters.
The 2 minutes 17 seconds lengthy trailer is much intriguing that leaves a number of questions in our minds : what really happens to Sohail when he went to war? What Gandhiji is doing in there? Why Salman carries shoes around his neck? And whose shoes they exactly are? How does Salman meet his little friend Martin Rey Tangu and female actress Zhu Zhu Juju? Will Zhu Zhu be seen romancing with Salman, if not then what kind of relationship they will share? What is the exact importance of the character of Om Puri, who will be seen for the last time in single screen? How does Shah Rukh meet Salman and how does the meeting turn out to be a turning point in Salman’s life? Will Salman really be able to find his faith, if yes then how? Will Salman have a reunion with his brother or the story will end in a butter note?
Right from the content, Salman’s heartfelt performance, intriguing plot, amazing locations, high emotions, brilliant camera work and direction, everything in Tubelight trailer is numero uno and gives a sign of a very unique film that will melt the audience’s heart and turn out to be a huge Blockbuster at Box Office as well, as Bajrangi Bhaijaan did.
Tubelight, the third time collaboration of Salman – Kabir duo, is all set to hit the screens this Eid, on 23rd June 2017.
