Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and Rajnikanth’s ‘2.0’ teaser to release on October and to be attached with ‘Golmaal Again’!
If everything goes ‘As Planned’, teasers of two most awaited films are to be out this Diwali. Yes, we are talking about here Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and Thalaaiva Rajnikanth’s ‘2.0’. Both teasers are to be attached with Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s comedy flick ‘Golmaal Again’ which will hit the screens this Diwali.
Tiger Zinda Hai teaser to be revealed this October and to be attached with ‘Golmaal Again’, not with ‘Judwaa 2’!
Earlier, the teaser of Salman’s spy thriller ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ was supposed to be released on September and attached with Varun Dhawan’s ‘Judwaa 2’. “Salman and his team are planning to unveil the first teaser, along with Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 that releases on September 29 this year. It all ties in wonderfully as Salman and David are old buddies, Judwaa 2 is a sequel of Salman’s Judwaa (1997) and he has done a cameo in it. So, the plan is to attach the Tiger Zinda Hai promo to the prints of Judwaa 2.”, a source close to the development said at that time.
The ‘Tubelight’ actor is currently in United Arab Emirates for the last leg of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and it will take 40 days more for the film’s completion. So till the release date of ‘Judwaa 2’, director Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman will be busy in shooting. Therefore, they must have come with the idea to be focused on that and come with a full fledged teaser only when the film is completely wrapped up.
Rajnikanth’s 2.0 teaser to be released on October 19 and theatrical trailer on December 12
On the other hand, Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 was scheduled to release on this Diwali. However, since the film is VFX heavy, the release date was pushed from Diwali 2017 to Republic Day 2018. And the first teaser of the film will be unveiled on Diwali on 19th October, a day prior to ‘Golmaal Again’ hit the screens. While the trailer of S Shankar’s science fiction will be launched on 12th December through a grand event in Chennai as a part of the celebration of Rajinikanth’s 67th birthday.
