Simran 2nd Day Box Office Collection and Occupancy Report: Box Office Bollywood
Simran and Lucknow Central, both last Friday releases opened with a poor note at the Box Office. Kangana’s film collected exactly what we predicted 2.50 crore nett (2.77 crore producer figure) on the first day. The collection is only average, yet it managed to beat Farhan Akhtar’s Lucknow Central by a huge margin. Lucknow Central did a dull business yesterday making it only to 1.75 crore (2.04 crore producer figure). Since both films are for a small section of audiences, this kind of collections for the day 1 are quite acceptable. Good thing is Simran’s first day collection is similar to Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and better than Bareilly Ki Barfi and both films went to be Box Office hits.
Simran and Lucknow Central Second Day Occupancy: Bollywood Box Office Reports
Lucknow Central and Simran have both opened to a poor yet better 12-15% occupancy as compared to yesterday (8-10%). Simran will witness a noticeable growth today because of its strong hold today in the major metro areas. In several places the growth went up to 30%, while in Noida it was almost 43%. On another hand, less promoted Lucknow Central’s performance in many places, mainly in UP and Rajasthan is better than Simran. Hence today’s collection will be better than yesterday’s but it will miss that kind of growth of Simran.

Simran Vs Lucknow Central Total Collections: Box Office Collections Report
As per the early estimates, Simran 2nd day Box Office collection is heading towards 3 – 3.20 crore. While Lucknow Central’s number will be again less than Simran, almost 2 – 2.20 crore nett.
Friday – 2.50 crore
Saturday – 3 – 3.20 crore
Total – 5.50 – 5.70 crore
Friday – 1.75 crore
Saturday – 2 – 2.20 crore
Total – 3.75 – 3.95 crore
Despite small budget films, both films have star power and are expected to the same magic of Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. Most noteworthy Simran and Lucknow Central should do a business of over 30 crore to avoid the flop status. This kind of films fate mostly depends on the Words-Of-Mouth. And then since they are mixed to negative, both Simran and Lucknow Central are now left with little hope for the weekend business and lifetime collections.
