So when every major holidays are over now, Salman Khan starrer Tubelight‘s fate is quite open to everyone. The film’s off track content failed to connect with the audiences. Though opened so well even at Pre Eid time, Tubelight registered itself as the top weekend grosser of 2017. The film could not carry the baggage of negativity and fell miserably on its sixth day itself when the collections went down to 5.75 Crore. And the streak seemed to continue when Tubelight opened its 7th day registering 15-20% occupancy only.

On its 6th day, Tubelight touched 100 Crore at domestic Box Office. This became Salman Khan’s consecutive 11th 100 Crore film, which is the highest for any actor. Tubelight may have underperformed at Box Office but within its 6th day, the Salman starrer film has already emerged as the fourth highest grossing film of the year so far and is most likely to end up being the top grosser after the lifetime run.
