Rajinikanth was rushed to the nearby hospital on Saturday after he fell down while shooting for a sequence in his latest upcoming film 2.0 in Chennai. The Southern super star fell and injured his right knee, according to the reports from the sets. Police sources said that 65-year-old Kabali actor fell down while shooting a scene at Kelambakkam on East Coast Road in Chennai city around 8 o’clock on Saturday night. He was taken to a private hospital nearby immediately. A doctor in the hospital said the actor was sent home with a white bandage on his right leg.
With this, Director Shankar’s ambitious 2.0 may have hit its first speedbump. The sequel to the Rajinikanth-Aishwarya Rai starrer Robot was launched last month in Mumbai city amid much fanfare and huge star cast and crew. Karan Johar hosted the event of that evening. he had addressed the makers of the film as ‘Shahjahaan of Production’.
This film which also stars Bollywood star Akshay Kumar as the main lead in negative character. this film is set for a 2017 Diwali release.
