Shahrukh Khan’s starrer Raees is one of the most awaited films in the recent times. The film was in the making for a long time and finally released today.2017 has begun a greatest clash, Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil vs Shahrukh Khan’s Raees. Here we bring you Raees collection update for the 1st day:

Raees Morning Shows Report:

The Shahrukh Khan starrer Raees took start with overall occupancy of about 60% . Considering the wednesday release, In most of the circuits this is an extraordinary start. The Mumbai and Gujarat circuits has opened extremely well and has housefull shows at many places. Gujarat circuits boosting higher just because of the local flavor. It has started like a riot in West Bengal and especially in Kolkata where it practically opened to packed houses. That is incredible as it has opened to an extraordinary response only due to the presence of Shahrukh Khan.

Even Central India was also good with more than 50% occupancy in the morning shows. The traditional Hindi markets in North India are decent but they are lagging when compared to other circuits.

Raees Afternoon Shows Update:

Raees just rocked big time on the noon shows too. The single screens are housefull in most parts of the country and even multiplexes are excellent due to the presence of Shahrukh Khan. At one point The opening is even better than Dangal which was a solo release and here Raees had a clash with a big film. In fact at some places, the opening is even better than Sultan which was a holiday release.

There is a good jump of around 5-10% in the noon shows. The film will again show big growth in the evening and is expected to be housefull at most of the places. Raees is set for a big day at the box office and will beat Kaabil by a big margin.
