Officially Confirmed! Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar to team up again after Tiger Zinda Hai and the teaser is ready!

Salman Khan’s ‘Ode To My Father’ Indian adaptation is titled ‘Bharat’, Ali Abbas Zafar directs

Director Ali Abbas Zafar‘s maiden collaboration with superstar Salman KhanSultan‘ was a huge success that sparkled eloquently on the both planes, Box Office numbers and critical appreciations. So much so that the film recently won the best action film at Shanghai international film festival and became the first Indian film to ever win prestigious Jackie Chan award. Whereas currently both Salman and Ali are working on their second project, Tiger Zinda Hai, simultaneously the two are gearing up for their third one too.

Ode To My Father Indian adaptation is titled ‘Bharat’

Can you recall the reports of Salman Khan working on the Ode To My Father remake? And now finally it is happening, though it is not a remake, Indian adaption instead. There was no one else better than the superstar himself to talk about the project. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor went to confirm that the film is titled ‘Bharat’ which is a joint production venture of his sister Alvira Agnihotri and sister-in-law Atul Agnihotri. While Ali Abbas Zafar will again on the director seat after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

Salman Khan opened up,

“The script of Dabangg 3 is ready. It’s going to start during Bharat, which is Atul and Alvira’s (Agnihotri) film that Ali (Abbas Zafar) is directing. That starts after Remo’s film. Atul’s film requires some gaps. So between the schedules for Atul’s film, I will shoot for Dabangg 3,”.

Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’ shooting details: to star in mid 2018

Well, Bharat to go on the floors once Salman is done with Remo D’souza‘s dance based film, tentatively titled ‘Dancer Dad‘. So basically the Tubelight actor will start shooting for Ode To My Father Indian adaption in the mid 2018.

Much earlier, Atul bought the remake rights of Ode To My Father that is still the highest grossing film of South Korea. It is heard that Salman will set ‘Bharat‘ against 1947 partition of India and Pakistan when lakhs of Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims were displaced.

While a source close to the development went to inform that “The teaser of the film (Bharat) is ready and they will unveil it when the time is right.” The makers most probably eyeing on the Christmas 2018 or Eid 2019 for this period drama.
