MS Dhoni : The Untold Story Review : Actor’s Performance Review
Sushant Singh Rajput plays the Indian Skipper MS Dhoni in the movie. Even before the release, Sushant Singh Rajput’s hard work and dedication for the role of Dhoni had met with much critical acclaims. Sushant used to spend as huge time as possible with Dhoni and have words with him. Even the actor practiced for 3 hours daily for 9 months on the ground where Dhoni once used to practice. From Sushant’s hair style, way of talking, waking, picking up the shots – all seem to be perfect. When the scenes come where Sushant walks exactly as Dhoni wearing Jersey no.7 amidst people cheering in background “Dhoni….Dhoni…. Dhoni” and the final shot in the WC 2011 to give you a series of sure-shot goosebumps and turn the theatre into a stadium instead.
Anupam Kher’s strong screen presence as Pan Singh, Dhoni’s father can be strongly felt. Bhumika Chawla as Dhoni’s sister did a justice to her role. Kiara Advani and Disha Patani as Dhoni’s girlfriends bore a strong and emotional screen presence.

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story Movie Review : Dialogue and Direction Review
From Neeraj Pandey’s direction, everytime people expect something huge in stature and he rose well up to the expectations. However, the direction could have been little better but it’s nothing much to complain about. The in-field sequences were brilliantly shot as well as the dialogues written are fit for the situations, having a soft core.
