Ek Tha Tiger 3rd part to start right after Tiger Zinda Hai: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif cast, Ali Abbas Zafar directs
No doubt, this year’s biggest release is Ali Abbas Zafar‘s action spy thriller Tiger Zinda Hai, starring ex-flames Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. Both Sal-Kat are already gearing up and undergoing hectic training sessions in order to get into the shoes of highly trained spy agents. The film, which is a sequel to 2012 released Blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, promises to offer the audiences exactly that kind of high octave action stunts and sequences. Director Ali Abbas Zafar who previously helmed Sultan with Salman will put further the spy thriller this time. However, seems like the makers and Yash Raj Films are so much confident of Tiger Zinda Hai’s success, so much so that even before its release, they have already started planning for the third installment of Tiger series.

A source close to the development informs that Tiger’s third part most likely will go on the floors almost immediately after Tiger Zinda Hai. The source tells, “Tiger will have a third part, almost immediately after ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. It has been designed to be a three part series. Just like part two begins from where they left off in the first one, the third instalment will resume right from where Ali leaves in Tiger Zinda Hai.

It is also heard that Salman is already kicked about the primary idea of Tiger’s third part and asked Ali to get the first draft of the script ready before ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ hits the screens this Christmas. The lead actors and the director of the second installment to be retained in the third one. So, it will be Ali’s third or fourth film with the Tubelight actor after Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Ode To My Father Indian adaption (if happens) and third film with Katrina after Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Loved pair Salman and Katrina will be reprising their respective roles.
Third part of Tiger series shooting schedule and release date
The third part in the Tiger franchise is expected to begin sometime in 2019 end and will release in 2020. Before get into this, Salman will wrap up for Remo D’souza‘s dance based film and Dabangg 3, whereas Katrina will have Thugs Of Hindostan with Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan and Anand L Rai‘s untitled dwarf project with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma to finish off.
