The Stardust Awards, one of Bollywood’s biggest award functions, witnessed a night of grandeur in the true sense. While the actual event took place on 19 December in Mumbai, the full award show was finally telecast on Sunday night – 8 January 2017 on Colors TV.

Salman Khan‘s Blockbuster Sultan, Sonam Kapoor‘s biopic on Neerja and Karan Johar‘s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil were big winners in Stardust Awards this year. Sonam Kapoor won the Best Actress award for Neerja while the Best Actor award was received by Amitabh Bachchan for Pink. Shah Rukh Khan won the Best Actor award in the Editor’s Choice category for his performance in Fan and Salman‘s 2016 wrestling drama Sultan won Colors Sansui Stardust Best Film. The awards event was studded by celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sridevi and Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor.
