An analysis of Bhoomi’s first day performance is as follows.

Bhoomi Friday Occupancy Report: Bollywood Box Office Reports

It had a poor start at box office opening registering almost 15% occupancy across India. However, all India Bhoomi is ahead of Haseena Parkar (except Mumbai city) and Newton. But Sanjay’s film is struggling against hollywood release Kingsman Golden Circle and regional biggies Jai Lava Kusa and Punjabi Nikka Zaildar. Junior NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa took All Time 5th Highest opening for a South Indian Movie. And it stands only behind Baahubali 2, ┬áKabali, Baahubali and Khaidi No 150. Therefore these two regional films would hamper Bhoomi’s Box Office collection to a great extent.

Bhoomi 1st Day Box Office Collection: Bollywood Movie Collection

Hence if we go by the early estimates, Bhoomi 1st day collection is heading towards a decent 3 – 4 crore nett. However the performance in the late night shows will decide the final numbers.

While good thing is the Words-Of-Mouth for Bhoomi are positive to mixed. And hence it will not only boost the weekend collection but will also promise a good hold during the crucial weekdays.

Most noteworthy, Sanjay Dutt’s Bhoomi is made on a budget of almost 30 crore. And looks like it should do a business of 40 crore at the domestic market to become a Box Office hit.
