Rajkumar Hirani confirms: Salman Khan’s dance film and Ranbir Kapoor’s Dutt biopic to clash on Eid 2018?
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai and Ranbir Kapoor’s Dutt biopic were previously supposed to clash during Christmas this year. However, with Dutt biopic Fox Star Studios signed a three-film deal with Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra on the basis of only condition and that is “no clash with Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai”. Eventually the deadly clash everted as Dutt biopic postponed to March 2018 but the story didn’t end here. And soon after, the buzz that Salman and Ranbir would clash against each other on Eid 2018 hit the air.

Actually, few days back, the rumours came heavily that Hirani’s Dutt biopic postponed from March to straight Eid next year. Now all know that Eid has always been the Tubelight actor’s favourite league and Remo D’souza’s dance based film, tentatively titled “Dancer Dad” is supposed to release during that time. So, a number of reports suggested the possibility of a clash between Ranbir’s Dutt biopic and Salman’s Dancer Dad to take place during next Eid.

However, director Raju Hirani came forward to deny the buzz about Dutt biopic being postponed and to have a clash with Salman during Eid next year. Hirani confirmed in a statement: “All these are baseless rumours. The film (Dutt biopic) will release as per schedule in March 2018.”

While in a recent interview for Jagga Jasoos, being asked about Dutt biopic’s delay averting the clash with Tiger Zinda Hai, Ranbir Kapoor said,
“Of course, Tiger Zinda Hai is the biggest film of Indian cinema coming this year. I am sure the producers had meetings, understood logistics, understood budgets and they have taken a wise decision.”
