And this year the 62nd edition of Filmfare Awards Ceremony was sponsored by Jio Digital Life. The award function held last night at the NSCI Dome in Worli.

This time superstar Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar added spunk to the Jio Filmfare Awards 2017 and co-hosted the 62nd edition of the star studded award night.

This year, Karan Johar produced Kapoor & Sons (Since 1921), Sonam Kapoor‘s Neerja biopic Neerja and Aamir Khan‘s Dangal emerged as big films, winning 5, 4 and 4 Filmfare awards respectively.

Akshay Kumar didn’t get a nomination for Filmfare Best Actor while his performance in Airlift was highly appreciated, to more the film itself Airlift got no awards.

Hugely critically acclaimed Amitabh Bachchan‘s Pink bagged 1 Filmfare Award for dialogues only.
